GB IE CY Charging the battery This appliance is equipped with a low-maintenance and securely sealed leadacid battery. To obtain an optimum service life for your battery, pay heed to the following instructions: Before the first use, fully charge the battery over 24 hours using the supplied mains power adapter. Avoid a deep discharging of the battery. In the event of decreasing brightness, switch the appliance off and recharge the battery. Never operate the appliance without it being under supervision. Do not store the appliance uncharged, instead, recharge the battery immediately after using the appliance. The battery will be damaged if it is placed into storage in a discharged condition. A battery discharges itself during prolonged storage. If the appliance is not to be taken into use over an extended period, recharge the battery at least every three months. Switch the Cordless Handheld Spotlight off completely (On/Off switch 6 + 7 at the position "0"). Connect the low voltage plug of the mains power adapter 15/car adapter 14 to the charging socket 12 on the Cordless Handheld Spotlight. The light beam can be aligned through the 5 locking positions. The eyelet on the stand can be used to suspend the appliance. Pull the stand 8 into one of the five locking positions and set the appliance up. Maintenance Replacing the halogen bulb These LEDs are not replaceable and do not have to be serviced. WARNING The bulb and the reflector become very hot during use.
