Inserting the batteries
· Open the battery compartment o. · Ensure that the tape used to remove the batteries lies underneath the batteries. · Insert the batteries into the battery compartment as shown on the battery compartment lid o. · Close the battery compartment lid.
Using the measuring tape
With the measuring tape you can read off measurements of length in the metric system or in the Anglo/American system. The upper scale shows lengths in feet and inches, the lower scale in meters and centimeters. · Pull out the tape measure e to the length required. · Restrain the tape measure e, in that you slide the tape lock w downwards.
Injury hazard!
Never allow the tape measure e to rewind itself without control. Dispose of the appliance through an approved dis-posal centre or at your community waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.
Battery disposal!
